It started with one simple idea: save the world’s fruits and veggies, one half at a time.
Our original Food Huggers® were created to snugly seal cut fruits and vegetables, keeping them fresh long enough to enjoy instead of toss. Since food waste is one of the largest contributors to landfills, saving food at home is one of the simplest ways to make a real difference.
Food Huggers launched on Kickstarter in 2013, raising $184,000 from over 5,000 believers who wanted an easier way to reduce waste. Today, our products are loved in kitchens around the world—and backed by a passionate, woman-founded team committed to making sustainability feel doable, joyful, and human.
